How EDS Affects Me/Kink

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is a genetic connective tissue disorder that affects many body systems, including skin, digestion, muscles, joints, lungs, eyes, ears, and some that I’m undoubtedly forgetting. It’s different for everyone and comes with some co-morbidities, as well. In my case, it causes my joints to be loose/weak, which can make activities like predicament bondage, struggling/fighting during CNC, and certain sex positions difficult or impossible. If you like standing or shower sex, I’m not your girl!

I can walk, sit, and lie down without issue, but standing in one place starts to cause pain fairly quickly. Because of this, I am an ambulatory wheelchair user. I do get injured more than the average person, but I rarely let that limit me.

I have a skin condition called dermatographia, aka skin writing disease. You can look it up on YouTube! Certain kinds of friction on my skin will cause me to break out in hives. This is only an issue if it bothers you or if you’re glitter-obsessed.
